Resource Licence

These resources are written and owned by Stephen Heath (“I”, “me”). When you buy them, you get a licence to use them as set out below. In this licence, “Resources” means any revision guide, test, booklet, worksheet, slide or other file you download from The Classics Classroom.

1. Individual licence (the standard licence, at the lower price)

The licence belongs to one named person, the purchaser — a pupil, a parent, or a single teacher or tutor. You may:

• Use the Resources to teach or tutor your own students, in class or one-to-one.
• Print or photocopy as many copies as you need for those students.
• Display them on a classroom screen.
• Put them on a password-protected platform (such as Google Classroom or Teams) that only your own current students can access.
• If you are a student or parent buying for personal study, use the Resources for that student’s own revision only.
• If you receive an editable version, adapt it for your own students. Adapted versions remain subject to this licence.

2. School licence (optional, at a higher price)

A school licence is for a school where more than one teacher will use the Resources with their classes. It covers all teachers employed by the named school, at one school site, for use with that school’s own students. It does not cover other schools, trusts or academies.

A teacher who is the only person at their school using the Resources needs only the individual licence. If a colleague is going to use them too, the school needs a school licence.

3. What you may not do

You may not:

• Share the Resources or download links with anyone else, including colleagues, other tutors or other schools, unless they hold their own licence.
• Sell, resell, lend or give away the Resources or any part of them, or adaptations of them.
• Upload them to any public or shared website, marketplace, file-sharing service, social media platform or shared drive.
• Remove or alter copyright notices or watermarks.
• Use them to train AI or machine-learning models, or to create a competing product.

4. Ownership

I retain the copyright in the Resources and everything in them. This licence gives you the right to use them, not to own them. The ancient texts themselves are not mine; my notes, commentary, translations, questions, layout and design are. Any third-party material in the Resources belongs to its owners and is used with permission or under a legal exception.

5. Exam boards

The Resources are independent study materials. They are not produced, endorsed or approved by any exam board, and I cannot guarantee any particular exam result or that the content matches a specification exactly.

6. Refunds

Because the Resources are digital files sent straight away, when you order you are asked to confirm that you want the file sent now and that you understand your fourteen-day right to cancel ends once it has been sent. If a file is faulty, missing or not as described, contact me and I will fix it or refund you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Breach

If you break this licence, it ends automatically, and I may take action to stop the misuse and recover my losses.
